Collection & Delivery
Collection service
All calibration orders include FREE collection via DPD (basic insurance £12/KG).
Just enter the collection postcode (this can be different from the billing and re-delivery address) and choose your preferred collection date and availability.
You arrange delivery
If you prefer to ship your equipment directly to our laboratory, checkout in the normal way and print off the Calibration Request Form emailed to you with your order confirmation. Please remember to put "CUSTOMER COURIER" in the special instructions. We advise customers to send all equipment to us using an insured ‘signed-for’ service.
Drop-off service
If you prefer to drop your test equipment in to us, you are very welcome to do so at either of our locations in Devizes, Wiltshire or Warmley, Bristol. Devizes drop-offs will be shipped to Warmley daily, so please allow an extra working day for the return of your equipment. Please ensure that you have booked and paid for your calibration online before arrival.
Unless otherwise instructed, all orders received during our normal business hours (Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00), collection will be arranged for the next working day.
Same-day collections
DPD do not allow same day collections at present.
If you order outside of our normal business hours, your order will be processed on the next working day and your collection raised for the following working day (unless instructed otherwise).
Failed collections
Unfortunately, DPD charge us £10+VAT for a failed collection and we have to pass this charge on to you if your equipment is not ready to pick up or the packaging does not meet DPD standards.
Return shipping
All calibration orders include FREE Standard Next Working Day Delivery via DPD (basic insurance £12/KG). If you would like to increase the insurance value or have your items returned before 12:00 or over the weekend, please select your preferred option during the checkout process.
Collect From Us
If you prefer to collect your test equipment from us, you are very welcome to do so at either of our locations in Devizes, Wiltshire or Warmley, Bristol. We will send you an email to confirm that your equipment is ready to collect.
Insurance
All free collections and deliveries have basic DPD insurance (calculated at £12 per kilo). This the maximum liability we can accept for lost or damaged items. If you wish to increase the insurance of your item, select the Next Working Day by 12:00 or weekend delivery services. These provide up to £1,000 insurance per consignment for a small additional fee.
