MAKE SURE YOU COMPLY

To ensure that your Multimeter continues to provide you with accurate results, it is recommended that you re-calibrate your Multimeter annually.

What Happens To Your Equipment?

The Multimeter is a very important tool for any electrician, from initial electrical installation to checking the condition of electrical equipment. The instrument provides the user with several tests and therefore is vital that the tester is accurate.

We test every available range on your digital multimeter by using our highly accurate calibration standards. All calibration services are performed in accordance with manufacturer standards.

When we perform our multimeter calibration we begin by testing the various functions that your device is capable of testing. In order to do this, we begin with the lowest possible value your tester is capable of reading before gradually stepping up the values to the manufacturer’s recommended maximum.

We also perform basic function checks such as:

  • Does every section of your display light up?
  • Does your continuity buzzer work?
  • Do dials rotate freely?

We also perform a range of mechanical and general operational checks of your multimeter to look for faults that may affect its operation.
